Ak 103 – PSA AK 103
Russian small arms designer, Mikhail Kalashnikov, designed the assault rifle AK 103 – PSA AK 103 in 1994. It is an AK-100 derivative of the AK-74M that is chambered for the 7.62x39mm M43 cartridge, similar to the AKM. You can customize the rifles with a variety of sights, such as night vision and telescopic sights. You can also equip them with a knife-bayonet or a grenade launcher, like the GP-34.

The forearm, magazine, butt stock, and pistol grip are all constructed from high strength shatterproof plastic. The AK-104 is a compact version of the AK-103. Additionally, it has a muzzle brake derived from the older AKS-74U combined with a shorter barrel. Furthermore, it is chambered for 7.62×39mm ammunition.

However, the impact on durability and reliability was a concern. Additionally, the cost of production also decreased. Consequently, they made the decision to switch to plastic magazines. As a result, this allowed a soldier to carry more rounds for the same weight.
