Ak 47 Gun – Ak 47 for sale – Best AK 47
Ak 47 Gun – Ak 47 for sale – Best AK 47, officially known as the Avtomat Kalashnikova (Russian: Автомат Калашникова, lit. ‘Kalashnikov’s automatic [rifle]’; also known as the Kalashnikov or just AK), is a gas-operated assault rifle that is chambered for the 7.62×39mm cartridge.
Developed in the Soviet Union by Russian small-arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov, it is the originating firearm of the Kalashnikov (or “AK”) family of rifles. After more than seven decades, the AK-47 model and its variants remain the most popular and widely used rifles in the world.

They finished the rifle in the year ’47. Design work on the AK-47 began in 1945. They presented it for official military trials in 1947, and in 1948, they introduced the fixed-stock version into active service for selected units of the Soviet Army. In early 1949, the Soviet Armed Forces officially accepted the AK, and the majority of the Warsaw Pact member states used it.

The model and its variants owe their global popularity to their reliability under harsh conditions, low production cost (compared to contemporary weapons), availability in virtually every geographic region, and ease of use.
Many countries have manufactured the AK, and both armed forces and irregular forces and insurgencies around the world have used it. As of 2004, “of the estimated 500 million firearms worldwide, approximately 100 million belong to the Kalashnikov family, three-quarters of which are AK-47s”. The model is the basis for the development of many other types of individual, crew-served and specialised firearms.
Origins
During World War II, the Sturmgewehr 44 rifle used by German forces made a deep impression on their Soviet counterparts. The select-fire rifle was chambered for a new intermediate cartridge, the 7.92×33mm Kurz, and combined the firepower of a submachine gun with the range and accuracy of a rifle. On 15 July 1943, the People’s Commissariat of Arms of the USSR witnessed a demonstration of an earlier model of the Sturmgewehr.
Impressed with the weapon, the Soviets immediately started developing an intermediate caliber fully automatic rifle of their own, The Soviet Army planned to replace the PPSh-41 submachine guns and outdated Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifles that most of their soldiers used.

They introduced the AKM, a lighter stamped steel version and the most ubiquitous variant of the entire AK series of firearms, in 1959. Shortly after World War II, the Soviets developed the AK-47 rifle, which quickly replaced the SKS in Soviet service. They introduced the AKM, a lighter stamped steel version and the most ubiquitous variant of the entire AK series of firearms, in 1959. In the 1960s, the Soviets introduced the RPK light machine gun, an AK type weapon with a stronger receiver, a longer heavy barrel, and a bipod, that eventually replaced the RPD light machine gun.
Concept
Mikhail Kalashnikov began his career as a weapon designer in 1941 while recuperating from a shoulder wound which he received during the Battle of Bryansk. Kalashnikov himself stated…”I was in the hospital, and a soldier in the bed beside me asked: ‘Why do our soldiers have only one rifle for two or three of our men, when the Germans have automatics?’ So I designed one. I was a soldier, and I created a machine gun for a soldier. They named it Avtomat Kalashnikova, the automatic weapon of Kalashnikov—AK—and it bore the year of its first manufacture, 1947.

The Ak 47 rifle for sale is best described as a hybrid of previous rifle technology innovations. “Kalashnikov decided to design an automatic rifle combining the best features of the American M1 and the German StG 44.” Kalashnikov’s team had access to these weapons and had no need to “reinvent the wheel”. Kalashnikov himself observed, “Many Russian Army soldiers ask me, ‘How can I become a constructor? How does one design new weaponry?

Early Designs
Kalashnikov began working on submachine and light machine gun designs in 1942 and 1943. In 1944, they gave him 7.62×39mm M43 cartridges and encouraged him to create a new rifle. In 1944, Kalashnikov created a 7.62x39mm semi-automatic carbine inspired by the M1 Garand, but lost to Simonov’s design. In 1946, he submitted the AK-1 and AK-2 rifles.Their reliability and curved 30-round magazine design earned them acceptance into a second round of competition.
The AK-46 prototypes, similar to the StG 44, featured a rotary bolt, two-part receiver, dual controls, and a non-reciprocating charging handle. Aleksandr Zaitsev suggested a redesign to improve reliability, which initially sparked reluctance from Kalashnikov. In November 1947, they completed AK-47 prototypes with a long-stroke gas piston, a single receiver, selector, and safety. The Soviet Army adopted the simplified design and production of the rifle in 1949 as the “7.62 mm Kalashnikov rifle (AK).
Further Development
The Soviets struggled to distribute the new rifle to soldiers until 1956, despite ongoing production of the interim SKS rifle. Manufacturing difficulties delayed the introduction of the AKM rifle until 1959. The new model features a stamped sheet metal receiver, slanted muzzle brake, hammer retarder, and a cyclic rate reducer to compensate for muzzle rise under recoil, and is approximately one-third lighter than the previous model.
